What Microsoft 365 licence do I need to use Copilot?+
Copilot for Microsoft 365 requires one of the following base licences: Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Microsoft 365 E3, or Microsoft 365 E5. It cannot be added to Business Basic. As your Microsoft CSP, we review your current licences and identify the most cost-effective upgrade path if needed.
Does Microsoft Copilot use our company data for AI training?+
No. Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 processes data only within your Microsoft 365 tenant and does not use your organisation's data to train Microsoft's AI models. Your data stays within your tenant boundary and is governed by the same access controls already in place.
Can Copilot access files stored outside Microsoft 365?+
By default, Copilot only accesses content within your Microsoft 365 environment — SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Exchange, and connected Microsoft services. External files are not accessible unless explicitly integrated through Microsoft Graph connectors.
How long does Copilot deployment take?+
For a straightforward deployment, tenant configuration and initial rollout typically takes one to two weeks. A phased rollout with training for a 20 to 50 user organisation typically takes three to four weeks end to end.
