Backup that's actually tested to work.
Most businesses find out their backup didn't work at the worst possible moment — during a ransomware incident, a failed server, or a lost laptop. Al Aida IT designs, implements and manages backup and disaster recovery for UAE SMEs, covering Microsoft 365, servers and endpoints, with both Azure and on-premise backup targets.
We don't build backup software — we implement and manage proven backup and recovery tooling around your environment, with restores tested on a scheduled basis so you know your data is actually recoverable before you ever need it to be.

Frequently asked questions
What's included in Al Aida IT's backup and disaster recovery service?+
Coverage spans Microsoft 365, server and endpoint backup, with both Azure-based and on-premise backup targets, ransomware-resilient storage, scheduled restore testing and a documented disaster recovery plan — implemented and managed for you.
What's the difference between backup and disaster recovery?+
Backup is the copy of your data. Disaster recovery is the plan for getting your systems and data back online after a major disruption, using that backup. We design both together so a backup that exists on paper actually gets your business running again.
What are RTO and RPO, and what are ours?+
RTO (Recovery Time Objective) is how quickly systems come back online after an incident. RPO (Recovery Point Objective) is how much data loss is acceptable, measured in time since the last good backup. Both are defined per client during assessment, based on your systems and risk tolerance — not a fixed figure that applies to every business.
How do you protect backups from ransomware?+
Backups are stored with immutability or air-gapped isolation, so an attacker who compromises your live systems can't also encrypt or delete your backup copies. We monitor backup jobs so a failure or tampering attempt is caught early, rather than discovered during a real incident.
Do I need an IT AMC to get backup and disaster recovery?+
No — backup and DR can be set up as a standalone engagement or as part of an IT AMC. Many clients start with one and add the other as their environment grows.
